Fifa believe that women's football enjoying a boom worldwide and has shown an increase in participation, support and popularity in recent years.
Germany the women's reigning world champions in particular have enjoyed an increase in popularity, with 860,000 of its 6.2million German Football Association members (DFB) being female.
